The USB-I485 - 8816001039 signal converter from NOVUS converts signals from RS-485 or RS-422 industrial buses, to a USB interface. Protection against spikes or other faulty connections in the communication bus is guaranteed by means of the galvanic isolation of 1,500 V DC between the USB port and the RS485/RS422. The problem-free configuration of a multi-serial system without IRQ or DMA configuration is possible using a USB hub, with which multiple modules can be installed.
